reasonable stay
lovely view spacious room old mattress faulty remote
the room had a nice view across the gardens it was also big and spacious i appreciated that. the evening meal had lots of choice on the menu i found something i liked easily.
the tv remote did not fully switch off the tv i had to get out of bed to switch off at the plug. the mattress was very soft and clearly old with dips i did not find it comfortable.

great bathroom breakfast service noisy restaurant bedroom coffee
The kitchen was excellent. I liked it very much. the breakfast service had great attention to detail. the bathroom in my room was very nice. It had everything i needed.
The restaurant was noisy. The tables were close together. there was no decaffeinated coffee in the bedroom. This was disappointing for me.

friendly staff superb breakfast air conditioning noise terrible sleep
the staff were friendly and the breakfast was superb.
The air conditioning unit made noises even after it had been switched off. My partner had a terrible sleep because of this.

tranquility at its best
tasteful decor really good grounds
The grounds were really good and very well maintained. the decor was unique and very tasteful. i was happy to find sky tv included. It's a great addition.
the gents toilets had a soiled floor under the urinals, disappointing. i hope this is addressed soon.

the reception staff were very nice and helpful. i found the staff to be friendly and accommodating throughout the hotel. alfie provided really good service and were really nice expectations.

the hotel had a beautiful and well-kept lounge area. the grounds are extensive and provide a tranquil setting. there is a terrace providing a great view of the grounds.
